I know, where are the new releases? Check it out, though: I AM BUSY. Busy failing at hosting dance parties, busy booking shows for people, but more than anything: busy working on my new show on VIVA RADIO, STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. Once I get the technical glitches worked out so that the sound levels don't vary so much (Apple Garageband/iTunes: kind of a turd, right?), it's going to be the most awesome, worthwhile thing that I do. Better than any of my recordings for this label (except SECRET ACTUAL DOG MUSEUM, which it will kind of resemble sometimes). So, got the Being Of The Good River vinyl finally. Actually, I've had the vinyl, but didn't have the sleeves for a long time. It's a killer jam in any format, so maybe you should buy both? Check the catalog for more info...

So, the harder news to report: I'm thinking of closing up shop. A shame, since there are some killer records (Ah Holly Fam'ly, Justin Shay, my collabo-jam w/Benoit Pioulard) potentially on the horizon... but what we don't have is MONEY or TIME. It takes a lot of both, dontcha know. Anyway, this isn't definitive, just a heads-up. If you're scared of this bleak future, ORDER MORE SHIT!!!! Love//Actual Turdz

The new Ohioan & Native Kin record, Being Of The Good River, is at the pressing plant right now, should be out in November. This is a split release with O. Ryne Warner's Native Kin label. It's also Casanova Temptations' first vinyl release! Expect big things.

A couple new comix available: Noise Art!? (already in its 3rd printing!) and Deep Cuts #1, both my me. They're free, but shipping isn't, so you'll just need to order something if you want the comics.

New 3"s on the way in November-ish by JUSTIN SHAY AND FRIENDS and ACTUAL BIRDS. We're trying to coerce some 3"s and tapes from some other folks, but no promises yet.

I've overhauled the catalog numbers so that any in-print Casanova Temptations release, regardless of medium, has a simple number with either "CT" or "Casanova Temptations" preceding it. This'll make shit a lot easier, and probably more interesting. You'll see.

Biggest news: CASANOVA TEMPTATIONS IS MOVING BACK TO ANN ARBOR, MI IN NOVEMBER. With that in mind, we don't have a reliable address right now. If you wanna know the best way to send snail mail before early November, e-mail me (ACTUALBIRDS AT GMAIL DOT COM) and I'll get you an address.
